“Amor”

The beauty of love through angel wings. For this sculpture I used soapstone. To start I drew sketches of what I wanted to sculpt. I created the same size model of the future sculpture using clay. I drew in the soapstone and used a hacksaw to cut the sculpture into a basic shape. To carve the stone I used the Dremel tool, I used 2 different types of pieces, the diamond wand to carve the shape and the sand wand to smooth the sculpture.
